As planned, I've installed OpenTape on all network sites, so now you can listen to music at both Stalwart and Hold Fast. (The latter probably has more enjoyable music for the casual listener a.k.a. real songs.)

On my portfolio I've put up a cute "badge" displaying recent Flickr photos. Not sure how much artistic merit lies within pictures of my cat, but the internet is made of cats, so at least I'm propping up the infrastructure.

Hold Fast has been chosen as the Non-Animanga Site of the Month at [info]amassment. I'm a little surprised Duncan got it, since both Star Trek and Final Fantasy are more familiar to the community members. All the same, it seems as if the site's clear introduction to a new series/ character is what appealed most to Destinie and Stefi (who nominated and selected the site, respectively.) I appreciate the honour.

Speaking of [info]amassment, I'll soon be running a shrine marathon for the community, to be announced in the next couple months. (Everyone's got a lot going on this time of year IRL.) I'm pretty excited about the theme as well as the opportunity to coordinate an event.

And now, page updates!

One of Stalwart's affiliates has received a substantial revamp: it's Todd's Sabin tribute, Somewhere Only We Know. With a new name, look, and articles providing insight into the buoyant martial artist, this shrine is sure to delight all visitors, and Final Fantasy fans especially.

Hold Fast has links to the official Highlander Facebook page as well as Adrian Paul and the PEACE Fund's Twitter accounts. Favourite tweet from Adrian, " Signing More Highlander merchandise. Immortal forever, at least the franchise is."

And finally, three new design pieces appear in the portfolio. Only two are farm-related.

[info]amassment is a big motivator for me these days. The community offers many events for which I gleefully sign up. I completed my contribution for the Shrine Revamp Marathon this weekend: Hold Fast, a tribute to Duncan MacLeod.

As you might guess, this is a shrine revamp. Everything is shiny and new, so please do explore. There's lots to add to the One Vision (media) section over time, so anticipate regular updates and Duncan love.

Coming later this week: a new look for the network, as part of the Valentine's Day Love Marathon. Never a dull moment!
